Job Description

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

As ignitia's lead Project Implementation Executive, you will lead customer success outcomes across our core market of West Africa.

You are passionate about high quality execution, and will tap into your deep experience in the implementing complex programs to achieve flawless execution of projects and deals closed by your colleagues in Sales. You will be handed newly acquired customers in the Agri and NGO sectors, and will ensure the accurate, timely implementation of each project.

From understanding customer requirements, meticulous planning, building a relationship based on trust, consistently excellent coordination and delivery through to supporting the service renewal. You will be the main point of contact through which ignitia delivers excellent customer service.

You will be supported by a small yet mighty team of scientists, marketers and technical experts. You will lead the charge in establishing ignitia as the lead provider of weather data across this market.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Drive project and customer success outcomes: ensure successful project deployment, increase renewal rates and reduce churn, increase customer satisfaction and lifetime value
  • Own and manage project stakeholder relationships to ensure high quality, on time and consistent implementation of project activities
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implementation and impact on the customer through pre-agreed operational metrics.
  • Leading the execution and delivery of project work plans, budgets, Mamp;E plans, project reporting, and related deliverables and milestones
  • Relationship management with project partners and funders, including private sector partners, NGO implementing organizations, and other funders
  • Collaboration with the sales team to design proofs of concepts, pilots, and projects
  • Delivery of participatory training activities, including Train the Trainers and onboarding, on Ignitia’s product offering
  • Leading on project reporting activities, including financial reporting in collaboration with finance team
  • Development of monitoring and evaluation plans, including survey design utilising digital data collection tools
  • Active role in execution of monitoring and evaluation plans, which may require some or all of the following: hiring of contractors, managing activity budgets, creation of survey tools, data collection, management of field teams, data processing, data analysis and reporting
  • Collection of formal and informal feedback from project stakeholders and sharing and/or acting on this feedback appropriately in collaboration with the product team

WHAT WILL IT TAKE?

  • Master degree from a recognised university
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in project implementation and delivery, in agriculture (required)
  • You have good knowledge of the agriculture food chain and the development sector in West Africa, the players, their priorities and how they operate
  • You are a powerful communicator both written and oral - and can leverage relationships of trust to deliver results
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills
  • Experience effectively presenting data in reports, using appropriate data visualisation/presentation methods and clear written explanations
  • Experience in leading and/or developing participatory training sessions
  • Strong familiarity with international development approaches including value chain approach, private sector led development, and market system development
  • PMP Certification a plus
  • French Native or fluent required
